Highlights and places of interest along the route:

Description:

The Pustertaler Ski-Marathon takes place every year in mid-January in Alta Pusteria. Numerous athletes fight for a good position in this traditional competition. The marathon, which runs through the villages of Sesto, San Candido, Dobbiaco, Villabassa and Braies, is held in the classic style. The Pustertaler Ski Marathon is South Tyrol‘s oldest and longest cross-country skiing event. Especially the route with start in Braies and runs through the Alta Pusteria is unique - a wonderful scenery of the Dolomites, which belongs to the UNESCO world natural heritage and a difficult route, which requires a good condition, as well as good training. However, the decisive factor for victory or defeat is always the final passage. Everyone can participate in the Pustertaler Ski-Marathon, also known as a 5-star marathon, whether professional or amateur athlete, young or old. In the run-up to the race we offer you numerous training possibilities for the final touch.
